Garage Fire

On September 5, 2004 at approximately 3:30 AM the Boyden Fire, Ambulance and Rescue personnel were dispatched to two vehicle detached garage fire in Boyden. Upon arrival the garage was fully involved with two vehicles inside and one outside on the driveway. All three vehicles as well as the garage was destroyed. Heat damage was done to the owners house and the neighbors pickup. Investigation by the Iowa State Fire Marshal determined the cause was electrical.
