THERE WILL NOT BE A VETERAN'S DAY PROGRAM HELD IN BOYDEN ON NOVEMBER 11TH

 

2014 Boyden Community Club's Festival of Trees and Community Christmas Celebration

  • Festival of Trees Local businesses and service organizations will transform the Community Center into a winter wonderland of "The Sweet Story of Christmas" themed holiday trees!  Come and vote for your favorites!  Voting again will be done by placing quarters into boxes by each tree - all proceeds donated to Boyden Charities.  * Winnters announced at 8:00 p.m. the night of the event.
  • Kids  Santa will be dropping by so bring your Christmas List!  Kids games, a craft corner and other activities during the event.  Coloring Contest sheets can be picked up starting Nov. 17th at the Boyden Library - pages are due to the Library on December 5th.
  • 2014 Community Charity - School Supplies:  book bags, pencil boxes, child sized scissors, accordion files, small boys and girls jogging pants.  These items can be brought to the Demco Center the night of the Festival of Trees.
  • Decorated Christmas Tree Raffle  The Boyden Community Club will have a decorated Christmas, donated by Brunsting Insurance Agency which will be raffled.  Raffle tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20 and can be purchased at Citizens State Bank, Farmers Coop Society, the Boyden Library or Boyden City Office.  The winner will be drawn at 8:00 p.m. the night of the event.  You must be present to win! 
  • Bake Off!  Fudge can be entered in this year's contest for judging.  Please contact Jodi Prostrollo at 725-2386 or jodip@farmerscoopsociety.com if you wish to enter fudge in this competition.
  • Candy Dish Display - The commercial club is inviting anyone to bring their favorite candy dish for display.  It may be a family heirloom, antique or just your special candy dish.  Please bring to the Demco Center by 6:00 p.m Monday, December 8th.
