Preschool
Boyden
Community Preschool does their best to make school a warm, friendly place
where the goal is to help each individual feel secure and valued. Childhood
is a very important time in a child's life. Therefore, they are allowed to
be children. Preschool is not a substitute for home, but rather, an extension
of it. Every effort is made to build a strong basis for students' education,
allowing each child to grow at his/her own rate socially, emotionally, physically,
and mentally. This is obtained through a wide variety of experiences planned
to accommodate the children's developmental needs at the appropriate levels.
Free and unstructured time is provided to help students learn more about themselves
and the world around them. It is felt that preschool is a very important part
of a child's life and the ultimate goal is to have each child experience the
joy of friendship, the gift of laughter and success in learning.
