Water and sewer services are provided by the City of Boyden. All water and sewer usage is monitored by water meters. Residential, commercial and industrial customers are charged according to the usage determined by the meters. The meters are read on approximately the 28th day of each month.

Monthly Billing:
Your bill will be issued on or before the 5th day of each month and is due the last business day of each month. Late payment penalties are1.5% of the total amount due.

*All returned checks are charged a $25 service fee.

Disconnected Service:
Service to any residence or place of business will be disconnected after the customer has been properly notified that they are delinquent.

Delinquent notices:
Noitces will be issued and sent by ordinary first class mail and shall notify the customer of the amount due and the date the service will be discontinued. If no payment is received.

Disconnect notice:
Notice will be sent by certified mail reaffirming the amount due and the disconnect date.  If still no payment is received, a disconnect notice will be posted at the premises 24 hours prior to disconnection of the utilities. A mandatory $25 re-connect fee applies to all disconnected accounts, plus payment in full before the service will be turned back on.

Water Deposit:
All rental locations are required to pay a $100 deposit before the water is turned on at the property.
